Our Night Outreach

Our Night Outreach

H.O.P.E.’s street outreach program operates a mobile outreach van seven nights a week during the winter and five nights a week during the summer.  H.O.P.E.’s Street Outreach division is supported by over 210 street outreach volunteers and soup angels.  Two street outreach volunteers staff the van every shift, while 2-3 soup angels provide for and deliver 20 meals each to be taken out on the van.

During street outreach shifts, H.O.P.E. provides basic needs support such as food, water, clothing, and blankets or sleeping bags.  H.O.P.E. also provides transports to available shelter, detox facilities, and medical treatment facilities.  Additionally, H.O.P.E. provides referrals to appropriate social service agencies for follow-up or more comprehensive care.  H.O.P.E. also offers a transitional housing program for
individuals ready to move toward self
-sufficiency.

We meet our clients where they are
and offer nightly food and support.
