Our Services

HOPE is a non-profit year-round street outreach program that connects with the homeless and their families by offering good will and encouragement, assisting with attendance of appointments, checking well-being, making jail and hospital visits, and distributing dinners on Friday and Sundays during the summer.  HOPE will expand its hours in the winterto provide nightly service.  HOPE is a humanitarian effort, which operates primarily when other services are closed for the day.  HOPE is also a conduit for the homeless to more effectively connect with presently existing social services.

  This we believe:

·          We believe that our lives are intertwined with one another in a complex fabricof interdependent relationships among equals.

·          We believe that all people are worthy of respect, are deserving of dignity, and are to be known and called by name.

·          We believe in the magnifying effect of collaboration.

·          We believe that a person is far more than the sum total of his or her experiences and that the human condition is far more than the final link in a cause-and-effect chain of events.

·          We believe in the cumulative value of small victories.

·          We believe in our shared responsibility for the ills of society and inour shared obligation to work for their eradication.

·          We believe that all voices have a right to be heard, especially those of the marginalized, the forgotten, the powerless, and the invisible.

·          We believe that no one we meet on the street is HOPEless.
