Our Soup Angels

Marian Hall, a City of Longmont employee, was the first Soup Angel.  She began appearing with hot soup for the homeless during the cold winter months and inspired a program that has taken more than 40,000 nighttime meals out on the streets of Longmont to the needy to date.  The meals are delicious, but as important as the food is the simple reminder that someone cares when a person experiencing homelessness is in his lowest moment.

Soup Angels are asked to prepare 20 meals each once a month in containers provided by HOPE.  The Soup Angel program is appropriate for adults and children and is also possible as a group activity.
